Eagle Scout
Tucker Lee Ferwerda, 15, was awarded his Eagle Scout at a Court of Honor, March 30, in the Sunset 6th Ward. He is a member of the 430 Troop. The Scoutmaster who helped him with his Eagle Project was Burt Cottam. His current Scoutmaster is Scott Belnap.
Tucker’s Eagle Scout project was to lay a weed barrier landscape cloth to improve landscaping at Bloomington Hills Elementary.
Tucker is in the 10th grade at Snow Canyon High School. His parents are Tyce and Debra Ferwerda, of St. George.
