Introducing Our Newest Sportwriter
Hi, I'm Nissa Lamb. As the newest member of the Dixie Weekly News staff, I wanted to introduce myself. I will be doing sports writing and photography covering the St. George area. I grew up in Logan, Utah, and graduated with my bachelor’s degree in business from Utah State University. After 10 years in corporate America, I quit my high-paying corporate job to move to Southern Utah and do what I love – photography. I opened a photography studio in Hurricane and do primarily family, event, commercial and sports photography. I was thrilled at the idea of expanding into photojournalism. Over the last couple weeks, as I have been out introducing myself to the coaches and players, I have been very impressed with the student athletes and the manner they conduct themselves. I look forward to showcasing the local talent and students that excel both in athletics and academics. Feel free to call the Dixie Weekly office with any suggestions for stories you'd like to see.
