Thelma Young Honored for Elks Donations

On Saturday, March 8, Grand Exalted Ruler F. Louis Sulsberger, National President of the B.P.O. Elks – USA, and his wife, Beth, were in Provo at the Utah Elks Spring Meeting to honor Thelma Young and her late husband, Bill, for reaching $100,000 in contributions to the Elks National Foundation. The Foundation raises funds for scholarships, youth and veterans programs, and Camp Wapiti, the Utah Elks State Major Project. The Youngs, of St. George, are the first individual donors to reach the Diamond Level of donations. Young was honored at a banquet and received accolades from the Dixie Elks Lodge, the Utah Elks and the Elks National Foundation.
