Newborns    
Carter was born at 2 pounds, 11 ounces, and Hunter was born at 2 pounds, 15 ounces on Oct. 25, 2007. Not expected to be here until January, they were three months early and because of that, they spent 10 weeks in the NICU. Carter spent seven of those weeks at Primary Children’s hospital. They were born early due to a twin-to-twin transfusion. So it is with a full heart that we give a special THANKS to the doctors who were able to keep them alive and allow them to be able to come home to our family. Carter and Hunter came home on December 24, 2007 – an amazing Christmas present. They came home to their 7-year-old brother, Tanner, who has waited a long time for siblings. Parents Andrew and Nikki Nelson are happy to have them finally home.
