Friends and Eagles
Mitch Mantle, Eric Mathis and Alec Stanley were awarded Eagle Scout in a court of honor at the Morningside Chapel on Dec. 30, 2007.
Mitch put shelves in the dugouts for Dixie High School’s baseball team as his Eagle project. Eric’s project was to install three benches outside the tennis courts at Dixie High School, and Alec put in the theater seating at the St. George Musical Theater.
The three Scouts have been friends for years and have helped each other work on their individual projects. Parents of the Scouts are Chad Mantle and Necia Mantle, David Mathis and Ember Preston, and Robert Stanley and Angie Stanley.
