HERITAGE WRITERS GROUP, a chapter of the League of Utah Writers, meets every third Tuesday, 6:30-7:45 p.m., in the downstairs meeting room of the new Washington County library, 88 W. 100 S. in St. George. The group’s purpose is to encourage good writing, and it has been active for more than 30 years. It sponsors a weekly critique group, writing contests and workshops.
