Sunshine Sheltman
Sunshine Sheltman, beloved wife, mother and homemaker, passed away peacefully Aug. 7, 2007, at Red Cliffs Regional Care Center after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Sunshine was born March 30, 1930, in Arcadia, La. She is survived by her husband, Roy Sheltman Jr., of St. George; her two sons, David Alan Sheltman, of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., and Roy Elliott Sheltman, III (Jo) of Silver Reef, Utah; her grandson, Jaden Quinn; and her brother, Rusty Ballance (Cloyce), of Serapta, La.
Sunshine grew up in Minden, La. She and Roy were married Dec. 26, 1952, in Greenville, Texas. They lived in many locations from California to Florida across the years before retiring in St. George in 1992.
Sunshine was a Christian lady. She was a great mother and wife and an avid homemaker who loved sewing, needlepoint, golf, bowling and sports cars.
Sunshine was a truly fine person who always had a smile and was always ready and happy to help anyone in need. She will be sorely missed by her friends and family.
Services were Friday, Aug. 10, at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel in St. George. Interment was in the Tonaquint Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family on Metcalf Mortuary's Web site at www.metcalfmortuary.com.
