Gary Thayne of Coldwell Banker Premier has earned gold and silver – not just in real estate transactions, but in the St. George Triathlon and the Utah Summer Games.
Thayne credits part of his success as a realtor to his exercise regimen, believing consistent exercise is key to maintaining physical and mental well-being.
Thayne took the gold medal in his age division in the St. George Triathlon, with an overall time of 2:58:08 hours. He was the only St. George resident who competed in the male, age 60 to 64 range in the Olympic distance.
In the Utah Summer Games Thayne competed in the Olympic Triathlon, a 1500-meter swim, a 25-mile bicycle ride, and a 10krun. He took the silver medal in his age range with an overall time of 2:52:47 hours.
