Barbara Ann
"Barb" Hendrickson
 Barbara Ann "Barb" Hendrickson, age 74, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family within the comfort of her own home, July 16, 2007. She was born June 1, 1933, in Lead, South Dakota to Avis Marie Pratt and Edward Virgil McLaughlin.
She married Robert "Bob" Hendrickson on Feb. 21, 1960, in Las Vegas, Nev.
Barb was raised and educated in the Black Hills of South Dakota. She was an active member of the Southern Baptist Church. Barb was a charter member of the Southern Baptist Church of Hurricane and was instrumental in starting a Baptist Church in the Hurricane area. She taught Sunday school and was a VBS director.
Barb loved babies and making quilts, reading, birdwatching, especially the hummingbirds, and wildlife. Barb was a gracious hostess and always had good things to say. She was kind, gentle, compassionate and very positive. Barb had the heart of the Lord.
She is survived by her husband, Bob of Hurricane; daughters Lynda Lehman of San Bernardino, Calif., Robin Hendrickson (Craig) of Desert Springs, Ariz., Kallie (Darren) Gifford of LaVerkin, Utah; son, Robert W. (Jackie) Hendrickson of Cane Beds, Ariz.; 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; and an aunt, Wava Schumaker of Oregon. She is preceded in death by her son, Richard Lehman, parents, grandparents, and brother, Eddie.
Services were Friday, July 20 at the Southern Baptist Church, 1565 W. State St., Hurricane. There were visitations Thursday, July 19 and Friday, July 20. Interment was at the Hurricane City Cemetery.
