Cab Davis Callaway
Cab Davis Callaway, 38, Santa Clarita, Calif., died Thursday, July 12, 2007, in Kern County, Calif.
He was born Feb. 6, 1969, to Gary L. and Lorraine Davis Callaway in Moline, Ill. When he was five months old his family moved to Casper, Wyo. At age 7 the family moved to Southern California where he spent the rest of his life.
He graduated from Agoura High School with the class of 1987.  He married Cheri Thompson in October 2000.
He was a wonderful brother and an adoring uncle to his nephews and nieces. Cab was an expert at sheet metal work. He loved being at the beach and being in the outdoors. He will be terribly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Cheri; stepchildren, Kimberly and Ralph Thompson; parents, Gary and Lorraine; five sisters, Wendy Barrow (Doug) of Camarillo, Calif., Tracy Tidwell (Travis) of Kaysville, Utah, Andrea Callaway of Cedar City, Utah, Ginger Todd (Mark) of Camarillo, Calif., Jessica Sury (Pete) of Cedar City, Utah; one brother, Jud Callaway (Amanda) of Cedar City, Utah; six nephews, seven nieces and his beloved dog, Rosco.
Visitation was Wednesday, July 18 with services following at the Fiddlers Canyon LDS Church Building (Wedgewood Lane and D.L. Sargent Drive).
Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences can be sent at www.southernutahmortuary.com.
