Jayden Chance Gifford
Jayden Chance Gifford, 6 months old, passed away at home with his family surrounding him. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah Dec. 23, 2006 at University of Utah Medical Center. Jayden joined our family through the miracle of adoption January 31, 2007. Although Jayden spent much of his life in hospitals, he enjoyed most being home with his family.
His example of courage and endurance was a blessing to us all. We miss Jayden and will look forward to our special reunion with him.
A special thanks to Dr. Michael Marsden, Home Care Nurse Julie Hall and the many life flight teams who cared for Jayden during his short time with us.
Jayden had a special caretaker in the family dog, Shalt, who was a constant watch and protector for him. Thank you Jayden for having us in your life. We love and miss you.
Jayden is the son of Greg and Cindle Gifford of St. George and the brother of Josh, Jessica, and Cavan. He is the grandson of John and Pauline Sadovich of St. George and Marlin and Dixie Gifford of Hurricane. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to help offset medical expenses.
Graveside services were in the Hurricane City Cemetery Saturday, June 30.
