Eggin' Her On
Print Article Email Article
St. George resident Amber Jackson received the shock of a lifetime April 14 as her boyfriend, Jon Juett, took her on an Easter egg hunt she'll never forget. After searching for plastic Easter eggs full of candy at Vernon Worthen Park, the two sat down for a picnic that Juett had planned. While eating, Jackson sifted through plastic eggs, reading messages that Juett had placed inside them. When she had read the last note in what appeared to be the final egg, she was surprised to find one additional egg hidden at the bottom of her Easter basket. Upon opening the final egg, Jackson found more than a piece of candy. Instead, she found a beautiful diamond ring. Juett knelt to one knee and proposed. To Juett's delight, Jackson consented and the couple will be married for time and all eternity on May 26 in the St. George LDS temple. Family and friends of the couple congratulate them and wish them the very best.
