Brian C. Aldred
Brian Cornell Aldred, 44, passed away March 10, 2007, in St. George, Utah, after a long and courageous battle with diabetes. He was born Sept. 4, 1962, in Las Vegas, Nev., to Mary Ellen Mendenhall and Gayle McClain Aldred.
Brian was born in Las Vegas and later moved with his family, making their way to St. George, where he attended Dixie High School. Here, he met and married his wife, Hollie Hirschi, on July 11, 1987, and later received his degree from Southern Utah University.
Following in the family business, Brian worked in construction, later owning his own company. He then moved into sales where he traveled, but was able to take his family along, spending amazing trips together. He loved this time he spent with his children.
Brian had a passion for life and loved that his children shared in his passions. He spent hours watching his children play and was so proud of all their accomplishments. He loved his children so much, and they will remember special memories of him and the things they did together.
He leaves his legacy behind in these wonderful children, who will make him proud. Through the successes of his children, a tribute will be made to him and to the life he left behind. Brian’s final years were spent at home, where he was unable to do the things he loved with family. His family loved him and shared in the responsibility of caring for him.
Brian is survived by his wife, Hollie; three daughters, Monika, Alysha, and Erika; one son, Bryant; father, Gayle, of St. George; a sister, Debra Dunn, of Las Vegas; and four brothers: Michael (Sharon) and Gregory (Carol), both of St. George, Donald (Jennifer), of Las Vegas, and John (Sherri), of St. George.
